Larry Beaird has several different roles in the Nashville recording scene.  He is a past nominee of the Academy of Country Music award for Guitarist of the Year.  As a producer, he has produced songs featuring such artists as Dolly Parton, Billy Dean and Mark O’Connor.

As a musician, he has played acoustic guitar, banjo, and mandolin on thousands of recording sessions including records for Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill, Trace Adkins, Brooks and Dunn, and Montgomery Gentry.  You can also hear him on Pop/Rock records such as America and Art Garfunkel as well as several movie soundtracks including Fox and the Hound II, Varsity Blues, and Hannah Montana, the Movie (on the Rascal Flatts song, “Bless the Broken Road”).

His 12-string guitar work is featured on the recent recording of Turn, Turn, Turn featuring Roger McGuinn, Emmy Lou Harris, and Ricky Skaggs.  This song is featured in the movie soundtrack for "The Song".

Larry played acoustic guitar on the records for back to back ACM Songs of the Year, “I’m Movin’ On” (recorded by Rascal Flatts) and “Three Wooden Crosses” (recorded by Randy Travis).

He is also the owner of Beaird Music Group, Inc. a premier Nashville recording service featuring three recording studios.  His company produces records for artists along with song demos for both veteran and up-and-coming songwriters.  With their system of recording, writers can have their songs recorded in person or without ever coming to Nashville.

Beaird Music Group has recorded the demos for several #1 songs including:

  • All-American Girl - Carrie Underwood

  • She Wouldn’t Be Gone- Blake Shelton

  • Getting You Home - Chris Young

  • I Run to You – Lady Antebellum

Recently, Beaird Music Group has recorded demos for the following songs:

  • Out Like That - on Luke Bryan’s Crash My Party album

  • Mexicoma - on Tim McGraw’s Two Lanes of Freedom album

  • Get to Me - on Lady Antebellum’s Golden album

In addition to recording demo projects for writers, Beaird Music Group is involved in recording album projects for numerous artists. Interestingly, one of their “demos” was actually released on Luke Bryan’s #1 album, “Here to Party”! You can also hear two of their “demo” tracks that have been released as masters on the #1 Willie Nelson / Merle Haggard duet album, "Django and Jimmie".

Beaird Music Group is also honored to have recently recorded Charley Pride’s album, “Music in My Heart” produced by Billy Yates.

The 2nd best selling album of 2016 was also recorded at Beaird Music Group - “Hymns” by Joey + Rory.

Other master productions have been recorded for major artists including Dolly Parton, Billy Dean, Robin Meade, and Kix Brooks.  For television, 3 musical tracks for the ABC Primetime special, “Six Degrees of Martina McBride” along with the music for the Joey + Rory TV shows were recorded at Beaird Music Group.
