A Legacy Chart is an elegant, one-page replica of the original chart of the recording session. It includes chords of the song using the Nashville Number System. It can also include the main melodic theme of the Intro, Turn, and Outro presented in numbered musical notation.
The sample above is a Legacy Chart of "Bless the Broken Road" (as recorded by Rascal Flatts). Although this song was not recorded here, the original chart was written by Larry Beaird, who performed on the record. The original chart is framed and on display in Aaron’s office.
