Two Hour Hands-On Session Tour

What we’ll do:

I will welcome you at the door with a hearty handshake and a smile. Then we’ll take a look at the 3 studios that make up one of Nashville’s busiest recording facilities. We’ll meet the band and find out which famous artists they’ve worked with. We’ll watch and listen as 4-6 of Nashville’s finest musicians “get sounds”, “tune up”, and prepare to record.

SIT WITH THE MUSICIANS! You can sit with the musicians as you watch and listen to them make their magic. You can listen on headphones (like the band) or in the control room on speakers.

ACT AS PRODUCER! You’ll have the unbelievable chance to step up to a mic and instruct the band during the session! (Don’t worry, I’ll help - no musical experience required.)

ACT AS ENGINEER! You’ll be invited to sit at an actual recording console and adjust the volume of one instrument in order to have it blend in with other instruments.

And get ready for some great posts! We’ll take your photo with the band and post it for your use within an hour. You can also take a photo holding the acoustic guitar played by Larry on Rascal Flatts’ mega-hit “Bless the Broken Road”. Also, you can take a photo standing at a microphone used by Dolly Parton.

Tour length is two hours. $85 per person.

About your host, Larry Beaird:

I am passionate about sharing my experience as a musician, producer, and studio owner, and I love to show others how the recording process works.

As a musician, I’ve had the wonderful experience of making music for numerous major-label recording artists including Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Trace Adkins, Dolly Parton, Tim McGraw, Chris Janson, Jake Owen, Brooks & Dunn, America, Art Garfunkel, Randy Travis, and Willie Nelson.

One of my career highlights was being nominated by the Academy of Country Music for Guitarist-of-the-Year.

What we’ll provide:

As you arrive in our lobby, we’ll treat you to a sip of a Nashville specialty, “fruit tea”. Also Nashville’s own candy - Goo Goo Clusters (plus soft drinks, water and coffee). As we go into the studios, we’ll leave our drinks behind as liquid and recording consoles don’t “play well” together. :)
